ARENA ARCHIVE
ArenaArchive Trust & Safety

Trust & Safety

ArenaArchive is designed to help buyers and sellers transact with more clarity, stronger protections, and a more trustworthy marketplace experience than informal resale channels. Buyer protection is subject to eligibility, platform review, and the policies described in our Terms of Service and Return Policy.

What Buyer Protection Means Here

ArenaArchive uses a structured marketplace flow with secure checkout, order records, payment holding, and dispute review. Buyer protection is designed to support eligible transactions, but it does not guarantee a refund in every situation.

🛡

Structured Checkout

Buyers move through ArenaArchive checkout instead of informal side-channel payments. Payments are processed through trusted payment providers and may be temporarily held before release to the seller.

📦

Order Visibility

Orders are tied to listings, payment records, platform messages, and delivery information where available. These records help ArenaArchive review eligible issues and make more consistent decisions.

Dispute Support

If an eligible issue is reported within the required review window, ArenaArchive may review the transaction and determine whether a refund, partial refund, return, or other resolution is appropriate.

Payment Holding and the 72-Hour Review Window

ArenaArchive’s payment release process is designed to create a clearer and safer marketplace experience.

When Funds Are Held

  • Buyer payment is processed at checkout through ArenaArchive or its payment partners.
  • Funds are not immediately released to the seller after checkout.
  • Funds may be held while the order is being shipped, delivered, and reviewed.
  • ArenaArchive may delay release if fraud, a dispute, or a policy issue is suspected.

When Funds Are Released

  • Funds may be released when the buyer confirms receipt of the item.
  • Funds may also be released 72 hours after confirmed delivery if no dispute is filed.
  • Confirmed delivery may be based on carrier tracking, delivery confirmation, or platform records.
  • If a dispute is opened, funds may remain held while ArenaArchive reviews the issue.

How Buyers Can Shop More Safely

A few best practices make a big difference and help protect your eligibility for marketplace support.

Before You Buy

  • Review all item photos carefully.
  • Read the full description and condition notes.
  • Check sizing, brand, model, and equipment specs.
  • Ask the seller questions before purchasing if anything is unclear.
  • Do not bypass ArenaArchive checkout or move payment off-platform.

After You Buy

  • Track your order through the platform flow when available.
  • Inspect the item promptly after delivery.
  • Report eligible issues within 72 hours of confirmed delivery.
  • Keep photos, packaging, delivery details, and messages if something appears wrong.
  • Respond promptly if ArenaArchive requests additional evidence during review.

How Sellers Help Build Trust

Safe marketplaces depend on accurate listings, timely fulfillment, and honest communication.

Accurate Listings

Sellers should describe condition honestly, disclose flaws, provide clear photos, and avoid misleading titles, images, or specs.

Reliable Fulfillment

Sellers should ship items promptly, package items reasonably, provide accurate tracking when available, and communicate clearly if timing or item details need clarification.

Respectful Communication

Buyers and sellers should use the platform respectfully and avoid abusive, deceptive, threatening, or manipulative behavior.

What Can Trigger Review or Enforcement

ArenaArchive may review accounts, listings, messages, payments, or orders where marketplace integrity is at risk.

Examples of Problematic Activity

  • Misleading or fraudulent listings.
  • Counterfeit, stolen, unsafe, or prohibited items.
  • Attempts to bypass platform payment flows.
  • Repeated transaction issues, chargeback abuse, or refund abuse.
  • Harassment, threats, spam, or deceptive communications.

Possible Platform Responses

  • Listing removal or editing restrictions.
  • Order review, fund hold, refund, partial refund, or return request.
  • Account restriction, suspension, or termination.
  • Additional verification requests.
  • Cooperation with payment processors, shipping providers, or legal authorities when appropriate.

Important Limits

ArenaArchive helps facilitate marketplace transactions, but users are still responsible for their own listings, purchases, and communications.

Buyer Protection Is Not a Blanket Guarantee

  • Buyer protection is subject to eligibility and platform review.
  • Refunds are not guaranteed in every case.
  • Buyer’s remorse, preference changes, fit issues, or minor wear consistent with the listing may not qualify.

ArenaArchive Is Not the Seller

  • ArenaArchive does not own or inspect every listed item.
  • Sellers are responsible for the accuracy, legality, and fulfillment of their listings.
  • ArenaArchive may make final platform decisions based on available evidence and applicable policies.
Marketplace Confidence

Buy Smart. Sell Responsibly.

ArenaArchive works best when buyers and sellers use the platform honestly, communicate clearly, and follow marketplace rules designed around trust.
